The template is setup with some default roles and channel permissions to get you started. These are listed out for you below.
This role has every possible permission available and can bypass channel specific permissions. This should be only given to those you trust explicitly to help you manage the technical aspects of running a Discord server. It can also be left unused or deleted (you will already have god like powers in your Discord 💪)
For all members of your team. As well as Moderator permissions [see Moderators below] this role gives users permission to view audit logs, server insights etc. as well as use @here, @everyone or @'role' mentions across all channels.
Key channel permissions for the @[StudioName] role
Ready for when you recruit your first community moderator/manager. Permissions include everything from the @everyone role with the added ability to manage (delete and pin) messages, manage nicknames and view the audit log. Everything a good moderator needs access to.
Key channel permissions for the @Moderators role
Note: @Moderators don't have default access to your Kickstarter channels. You can add them manually if required.
If you're running or planning to run a Kickstarter campaign in the future, one of your rewards should be access to a private Discord channel for backers. By applying this role your Discord members will be able to see and interact with three brand new channels. Note: Kickstarter backers will have the same default permissions as @everyone for all other channels.
